Had to share this beautiful picture.

I found this picture a long time ago. Reminds me to stay connected to that inner harmony and love for life. There is something about nature, waterfalls, water, gardens that is a real refresher. So good to find it again.

Celebrated Australia day yesterday, was a gorgeous day, live band, kids face painted, lots of sun, nice BBQ, kids got a tiny bit sunburnt but they had a ball.

Share short piece I wrote, I call it imaginings.

Beach

Walking each step in the warm sand, sand between my toes.
Feel the water wash my feet at the beach,
Warmth of the sun on my back,
Giggling and talking with my friend,
Watching kids laughing chasing sea gulls,
Salty taste as I lick my lips.
Light sea breeze blow thru my hair,
Small soft clouds slowly passing by way up high in the sky,
A little wind is enough to keep the pretty dragon kite a glide,
Long streamy tail waving in the wind.

In the distance surfy’s sitting on their board,
Waiting to catch that next big wave.
Aroma of sausages, steak cooking at a near by BBQ
Hear people happy chatting as the sausage’s sizzling.
Feel the coolness of the sun lotion as I massage it on my skin
The sweet pleasant aroma of coconut as I breath in slowly through my nose
Soaking up the lovely day, feeling the goodness of this new day.

Good to get back into riding

I haven't wrote in a while, but in the back of my mind my love for writing is there. Been having a busy fun holidays with kids & family. I am very happy getting back into bike riding. I used to ride or walk for miles, but being a mum I don't do that as often, or maybe that's a good excuse. But any ways good to get back into it again. I enjoy the feeling of racing my bike down flights of staires, that was when I was a teen, not sure if I'll be riding like that again. When I used to walk and walk for miles, one time I walked so much I knew had to catch a bus back. There is freedom in walking and riding a bike. I haven't got that feeling in riding a car, maybe cause not so confident in driving, which hoping soon will change as practice makes perfect.

Lovely day

I was happy doing gardening when I stopped what I was doing, was fascinated by the awesome display, the flock of birds were weaving back and forth for a good 10-15 mins. Was very beautiful to watch, if only had a video camera handy. When you just stop everything, thats when you see the most.
